The plasma jet can be used for applications including plasma cutting, plasma spraying, and plasma arc waste disposal. ==Types of thermal plasma torches== Thermal plasmas are generated in plasma torches by direct current (DC), alternating current (AC), radio-frequency (RF) and other discharges.
